Job Description	TEKsystems has teamed with one of its leading clients in their search for a VoIP/Network Engineer. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity based in the Western suburbs of Chicago. This VoIP/Network Engineer position will leverage a well rounded background in routing and switching with CISCO technology and with a strong emphasis in VoIP telephony. This position will challenge an in depth expertise in VoIP protocols and their application both small and large environments. The VoIP engineer will provide consulting and solutions across various entities. The engineer will articulate opinions on matters impacting VoIP and consider the impact on other areas in the company. The network engineer is a hands-on technical position that reports to the Director of Service Management. This position provides key technical expertise for network voice services.
